At von Holzhausen, we innovate future materials that don’t hurt the planet — and, in many cases, help restore it.
As anybody who loves materials and the planet knows, the number one rule is to make sure your materials last a very, very long time. We’re happy to say that ours do!
All von Holzhausen materials are produced to meet or exceed ACT (Association for Contract Textiles) quality and performance standards. In addition, there’s a 5-year warranty on our material when used under normal conditions and for the purpose intended.
If they don’t meet these expectations, we’ll replace them for free. But as we say, we don’t think that’s going to happen.
1. Warranty information (AKA the small print)
- For the warranty to be valid, the material needs to be properly installed, used in a "single-shift" environment and maintained under normal conditions using appropriate cleaning agents and methods.
- We aren’t able to reimburse labor costs.
- Additional fabric finishes applied to the material after purchase will void the warranty.
- It’s non-transferable and limited to the original buyer.
- It doesn’t cover claims for conditions or damages caused by shipping, abuse, accidents, alterations, misuse, neglect, reverse crocking/dye transfer, normal wear and tear, or other physical damage, or from failure to exercise due care in the measurement, installation, cleaning, or maintenance of the material.
- It doesn’t cover claims for scuffs, scratches, scrapes, tears and abrasive or excessive wear or damage due to repair, alteration, or modification of the product by anyone other than the von Holzhausen, unless such repair, alteration or modification is authorized by von Holzhausen in writing.
- It doesn’t include irreversible stains from the transfer of clothing and accessory dyes.
