When the pandemic hit, my 1st thought was "who can I help?", and my 2nd thoughts was "what can I create?". So my early coping strategy was to provide homemade masks to anyone in my extended circle who needed one. With everything closed and major delays in shipping, I was having no luck getting my hands on elastic and fabric. So I shopped my closet, and turned unused dust bags and packaging ribbon (which I always save) into chic masks complete with a filter pocket.
