    Jean Shrimpton

    This week we are very excited to celebrate the world’s first supermodel and our Summer Style Icon Jean Shrimpton!

    As far as influencers go, Jean – or The Shrimp, as she was often called – was way ahead of her time.  Most famous for her work with photographer David Bailey in the 1960’s, Shrimpton also had impeccable personal style.  She single-handedly helped launch the miniskirt and, being the It Girl of the Swinging Sixties, was often seen in ultra mod outfits.

    A fan of subdued colors and strong, minimal design, Jean’s look was modern and fresh with a touch of glamour.  And we love how her sense of style still translates today!
