What To Wear This Fall According To Two Tastemakers

Wondering how to choose a bag for fall or mix elements as the seasons change? We consulted two experts to help you make the shift with sleek, climate-friendly style.

Our founder, Vicki von Holzhausen, is a designer and material innovator with a busy lifestyle that demands beautiful, functional pieces. “These bags are great for fall, but they’re made to work all year. Timeless, seasonless items create less waste and a brighter future for our planet.”

Here are the vegan bags she has on repeat.

    The Large Bucket in Taupe

    The Small Shopper in Blush

    The Market Tote in Burgundy

    The Sac in Forest

Next, we asked stylist @FIGTNY what she’s wearing between seasons. Her modern take on classic pieces never fails to inspire and intrigue us.

“I love mixing summer and fall fabrics for trans-seasonal dressing. Think linen paired with faux leather or lightweight silk layered with chunkier knits.”

When we asked about shoes, she replied:

“Being a New Yorker, effortless flats are essential. They make it much easier to navigate city streets, subways and crowds. You can reinvent a favorite fall outfit by incorporating von Holzhausen flats. They fit seamlessly into your existing wardrobe.”

As for colors, she recommends a warm neutral that goes with everything. “I love the Caramel shade. They’re the perfect color to complement glowing, sun-kissed skin and the transition to fall.”

With that, we wish you a joyful autumn season. If you have a favorite fall bag or fashion tip, be sure to tag us on Instagram. We love seeing your sustainable style!
